The PGP97 is a replacement grid plate assembly for 42-inch commercial utility presses, designed for use in professional dry cleaning plants and garment care operations. It fits Hoffman 42 inch series utility presses and is a direct replacement for worn or damaged press plates.
The plate features a precision-engineered aluminum grid with truss-style holes that distribute steam evenly across the full pressing surface. This design prevents steam from channeling through a single point, which reduces the risk of thread separation on fine fabrics and ensures consistent pressing results across the entire garment. A flannel padding layer sits between the grid plate and the garment, providing the cushion needed for clean, crisp results without flattening or marking fabric.
